I love small private hotels like the Avery as they always seem to just have that extra to make the stay more memorable and that’s exactly what happened here. The perfect location, the personal touch from a very professional staff, the cuisine and great cocktails at the bar- loved it all. I stayed in a basic room and it was a tad too small. I’m coming back for Xmas and I will get a suite instead.

The Avery is amazing! I am a local who moved a few hours away and knew this is where I wanted to stay. The location is perfect for all things downtown. The hotel is restored beautifully. The services is amazing, and the room was super cute and quiet. I loved the wool carpet to dampen the floor noise, the Ilia coffee, the wonderful soaps and the comfy bed. I will stay here again anytime I come back home. Cannot recommend enough. It's classy, but not snotty, feels very old school Boise which I have missed as the valley grew. Also felt safe and friendly to all folks. Excellent stay!

Beautiful boutique hotel. We are so glad we chose The Avery for our 4 night stay in Boise. Our first time in the city was amazing, complete with a clean and aesthetic space to stay. Staff was very friendly and always greeted us with a smile. Seriously no complaints and we were so excited to get back to our room each evening because it felt so cozy and comfortable. The decor throughout the hotel beautiful and intentional. We didn’t end up dining in, but we went down to Tiner’s Alley for a drink one evening and found their cocktail menu to be fun and unique! So glad we stayed here. Already cannot wait to come back!

We had a wonderful stay here for a work week in Boise. The rooms are comfortable and we enjoyed the huckleberry soap and lotion. The hotel is in a great walkable location close to eateries, business offices, and the Greenbelt. There are two fantastic restaurants on site - one is a French bistro and the other is a speakeasy. The staff were exceptional, accommodating, and greeted us by name.

What a great place to stay! Rooms feel luxurious, clean and perfectly cozy. Loved having the choice of coffee in my room, or down at the lobby. The service was very attentive from when I checked in to when I left at the end of my stay. (Also loved having a bodega right across the street for a car snack before I hit the road). Thanks Avery Team!
